Department of Health The Department of Health (HEA) is responsible for health services and social programming in Nunavut. Staff at HEA work to improve the health and well-being of Nunavummiut by addressing the differing needs of each community through culturally appropriate programs and services.

Provide community and public health nursing services within remote communities in Nunavut. Deliver healthcare to diverse populations in settings such as health centres, schools, and nursing outposts.

Requires a Bachelor of Nursing with at least one year of acute care experience for CHN roles, or a Nursing degree/diploma with a Public Health certificate and two years of experience for PHN roles. Must pass a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
