About

Girl Scouts develops leaders through the three keys to leadership - discover, connect, and take action. Girl Scout troops are not the only way to be a Girl Scout. Virtual troops and other short-term program activities also available. Girl Scout activities include topic areas such as science, technology, the environment, healthy living, anti-bullying and financial literacy. Girl Scouts also do community service and travel, plus the well-known camp and cookie programs are still around! Open to girls in K-12 grades. Volunteers are the heart of the Girl Scout organization! Whether you can give an hour, a day or a week, you will be remembered for a lifetime as a Girl Scout volunteer. Girl Scout volunteer positions vary from office work to program activities with girls. Volunteers in Girl Scouts also gain marketable skills that can benefit them in ways beyond Girl Scouting, such as your job search. Men and women volunteers ages 18+ welcome.
