This role drives continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and championing initiatives that enhance outcomes for both customers and employees. As a trusted leader and customer advocate, the Manager collaborates across the organization to deliver customer-centric solutions that reflect the company's values of safety, collaboration, respect, and innovation.In this role, you will: Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and ongoing support to management and unionized staff to meet operational and customer service objectives. Optimize processes, implement best practices and technologies, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and effectively manage escalated customer concerns to enhance service quality and satisfaction. Oversee daily payment processing, collections, and accounts receivable activities to ensure accurate billing, strong cash flow, achievement of service levels, and minimization of bad debt. Manage receivables, budgets, vendor performance, audits, and internal controls while resolving complex payment and collection issues to protect revenue and ensure regulatory compliance. What it takes: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field from an accredited post-secondary institution, plus 5 years’ recent, related experience working in a leadership capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid BC Driver’s License. In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
