Job summary
Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Duties include (but are not limited to): Install doors, frames, trim, baseboards, crown mouldings, and other finish carpentry components Install cabinets, countertops, shelving, and other architectural millwork Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision and attention to detail Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure efficient project completion Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining high-quality workmanship Participate in site inspections and address deficiencies through corrective actions Required Skills: 5+ years of finish carpentry experience is required Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques and materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings High attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship Experience installing doors, trim, cabinetry, millwork, and interior finishes Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools Ability to work independently and follow direction from the foreman Physically capable of performing manual labour, lifting materials, and working in various conditions Required Certifications: CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 Fall Protection is an asset Valid driver's licence is an asset
