We are a diverse organization specializing in heavy civil construction and turn-key camp catering industries. Clearing-Equipment Operators Falcon Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking self motivated, enthusiastic, & fit individuals to join our civil construction and clearing team. This job will consist of clearing access and camp site development work. If you are looking for a challenge and want to feel rewarded we look forward to hearing from you. Responsibilities & Roles Safety mindset is our first priority Perform daily safety and maintenance checks Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and fellow employees Keep equipment clean & orderly at all times Advise the Supervisor of any required maintenance or repairs Attend and participate in all tailgate meetings, topics & concerns Complete and maintain all work reports Able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines Assist fellow crew members wherever required to complete the job Use heavy equipment to excavate trenches to grade, slope and back fill, load haul trucks, perform site grading and ditching Perform other related duties as assigned Attention to detail Perform daily preventative maintenance. Be able to work away from home in a camp setting when required Qualifications & Requirements Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test required Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience Must have a proficient knowledge of road and underground utility construction techniques Must have good working knowledge of laser level & pipe laser level instruments Be safety orientated, self-motivated and work well with others Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) Bear Awareness Ground Disturbance Level 2 A valid BC driver's license (class 5) and own transportation is required Ability to work with minimal supervision​

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a proficient knowledge of construction techniques. A valid BC driver's license and completion of safety training are also required.
