We do this through preventative and restorative activities including release planning, housing, safety planning, employment transition, education, substance recovery, cultural supports and more. The Release Support Worker assists individuals transitioning from the Edmonton Remand Centre by developing integrated plans for housing, employment, and addiction recovery. They also maintain professional relationships with community agencies and probation officers to ensure effective reintegration and safety.

The Caseworker is responsible for monitoring client behavior, assessing risks and needs, and facilitating successful community transition through one-to-one support. They must maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parole and police officers.
