Project Manager (Remote — Canada) B2B contract, full-time (160 hours/month) | $60,000–$90,000 CAD/year About Emersoft Emersoft is a software development agency based in St. Pete, Florida (EST). Our main focus is the Shopify ecosystem — we're certified Shopify Partners and makers of the best-selling Shopify app for booksellers, used by 100+ bookstores. We also work in the HubSpot ecosystem and build custom software: SaaS products, internal dashboards, and retainer projects with allocated monthly hours to build and maintain existing software. Small in-house team, no outsourcing, remote-first and async for years, with client relationships that last 7+ years. We're expanding into the Canadian market. The role Our promise to clients is "we lead, you don't need to manage us." This role is where that promise lives. You'll be the link between our clients and the dev team: you own client communication, keep every project board honest, and make sure nothing sits blocked. What you'll do Run weekly update calls with clients: prepare the agenda, show work progress, bring questions from the dev team Turn client feedback into clear tasks and distribute them to the team Run daily standup calls with the dev team Keep the team accountable — surface blockers and unanswered questions before they stall work Keep all project task boards up to date, across all projects Prepare monthly timesheets and updates for retainer clients Track onboarding of new bookstores onto our Books Shopify app Handle day-to-day client communication, delegate to the support team, and follow up until things are done What we're looking for Experience managing technical projects and working directly with a dev team Experience working directly with clients — you're good with people, and there will be a lot of calls Native-level English, spoken and written Efficient with AI — you use it to automate real work, not just chat with ChatGPT Experience with Shopify Basic understanding of how tech projects work Quick learner who's always looking to automate and improve processes Well organized — you can build and maintain documentation (knowledge base) that the team actually uses Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Calendar) Experience with project management software: Jira, Asana, YouTrack, or similar Experience working with agile teams Nice to have Vibe coding experience Building AI workflows and automations HubSpot What we offer A mostly technical team to learn from — a real chance to build technical skills and hands-on experience in tech All the most modern AI tools and accesses, provided by us A growth path into a product owner role Real impact on the shape of the product and our processes — we're open to suggestions and workflow improvements Flexibility with working hours, days off, and vacations Modern tools and modern tech stack — no legacy software, no legacy processes Details Remote, based in Canada B2B contract, full-time — 160 hours/month $60,000–$90,000 CAD/year, depending on experience We're remote-first and async — no fixed office hours, but you need to be available for client and team calls during US business hours (we run on EST)

Act as the primary link between clients and the development team by managing communications and project boards. Ensure project momentum by running daily standups, weekly client updates, and removing technical blockers.
