Job summary

In encouraging students to excel to higher levels of education, Kete Whii / Procon Joint Venture is offering five (5) $1,500 scholarships to successful candidates. We are currently accepting applications for students enrolled in the 2026/2027 school year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: * Beneficiaries of Lutsel K’e Dene Band, Tłı̨chǫ and the Yellowknives Dene First Nation * Enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution * Be considered a full-time student STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING THE FOLLOWING: * Letter of interest to include: * Sharing your personal story * Your current studies /program * How will this scholarship support you in your career aspiration * *The submission will be a minimum of 1.5 pages (750 words) to a maximum of three (3) pages (1500 words). * Mailing Address, where, if successful, the funds should be forwarded * Two letters of reference (from previous employers or leaders in your life that can best describe your skills and abilities) * Proof of Beneficiary (copy of Treaty Card) * Photocopy of Social Insurance Number * Copy of acceptance letter from post-secondary institution (if first-year student) * 2nd year or higher students –proof of registration for the coming year * Copy of Official transcript Please send in your completed application package with all the listed requirements mentioned above (incomplete applications will not be considered), through one of the following ways: Apply Online: www.detoncho.com/scholarships [//www.detoncho.com/scholarships] *When uploading your application online, please ensure to combine and scan all required documents into one document prior to uploading.
