Locum Associate Dentist – South 40 Dental (Grande Prairie, AB) Coverage Dates: July 9th and 10th High-demand clinic • Excellent team culture • Modern technology About the Opportunity South 40 Dental is seeking an experienced locum Associate Dentist to join a high‑volume, well‑established practice in Grande Prairie. The clinic is known for its long‑term team, excellent culture, strong patient loyalty, and demand that consistently fills schedules weeks in advance. This position offers an already‑established patient base and full clinical schedule. The practice features strong technological investment, a large and efficient workspace, and a highly supportive team including experienced RDAs and senior dentists. Schedule Needing Coverage Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm Additional Details: 2 DDS chairs allocated to the associate No independent work required — clinical support available RDA support at all times Required Clinical Skills Bread‑and‑butter dentistry Basic endodontics Basic oral surgery Fixed prosthodontics (crown and bridge) Additional Skills Not Required but Beneficial Openness to advanced technologies Comfort with new workflows and systems Sedation Offered The practice provides a full range of sedation options: Nitrous sedation Oral sedation IV sedation Technology & Software Dentrix PMS CBCT iOS Panoramic and ceph imaging Soft tissue laser Digital X‑ray Paperless charting Fotona laser This is a modern and well‑equipped clinic with significant investment in technology and digital workflows. What you’ll do
Provide comprehensive dental care including basic endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics for a high-volume patient base. Collaborate with a supportive team of RDAs and senior dentists to deliver high-quality, patient-centric care.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited DDS/DMD program or have completed the NDEB Equivalency Process. Requires valid provincial licensing, CPR certification, and residency in Canada.
