About

The College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) regulates chiropractors, registered massage therapists, naturopathic physicians, and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists to ensure they have the competencies needed to practice and that they adhere to the standards needed for safe and ethical care. The Ministry of Health directed the following four former regulatory health colleges to amalgamate to form a new, multi-profession college on June 28, 2024: College of Chiropractors of BC: College of Massage Therapists of BC; College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC; and College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC. This amalgamation is part of the Ministry of Health’s multi-year initiative to modernize BC’s health profession regulatory framework. The four colleges will continue to regulate health professionals until they amalgamate on June 28, 2024. If, before this day, you have questions or concerns about the regulation of any of these health professions, please contact the appropriate college directly.
