We are currently seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team, supporting clients in their own home. Areas where we are looking for Companions: Skidegate, Daajing Giids, Graham Island, Haida Gwaii area Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour As a Companion, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing assistance with personal care and medications. Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services. Offering companionship and emotional support. Assisting with medical escort services Assisting with medication management Competencies and Qualifications: Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities. Willingness to work both short and long shifts. Possession of a Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset. Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude. Willingness to commute to designated locations. A clean criminal record check. Possession of a driver's license (considered an asset). Must be living in the Haida Gwaii / Skidegate / Daajing Giids / Graham Island area Benefits: Flexibility in choosing your preferred hours. 24/7 support from our team of coordinators and nurses.
