New housing, excellent educational facilities, a multipurpose recreational facility and a college are just a few of the highlights that truly make Cold Lake a community of choice. ### **Job Purpose & Responsibilities** Support the safe operation and maintenance of water treatment plant functions and equipment in compliance with environmental standards. Aid in the treatment, disinfection, and all processes of water treatment and wastewater treatment plants. Perform a wide variety of manual labour duties in the maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment plants. Perform system repairs as required. Maintenance sampling, quality control, and testing. The work includes physical labour by performing repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. ### **Qualifications & Competencies** High School Diploma or Equivalent Class 5 Driver License is preferred ### **More Details** Immediately till August 28th, 2026. The wage for this position is $21.33. 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This position is within the scope of AUPE Local 118/016, and as such you will be required to adhere to articles contained within the Collective Agreement. ### **How to Apply** Submit a detailed resume including qualifications and past and present work experience.
