Powered by cutting-edge technologies, CEDA provides more than 120 specialized services and cost-effective solutions across North America, creating exceptional value for our clients.We are committed to putting the right people, in the right place, at the right time while offering an inclusive work environment, opportunities for professional development, a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, CEDA has opportunities for you!Job DescriptionCEDA is looking for Journeyman Pipefitters and Apprentice Pipefitters for camp work with our client in Conklin, AB.This position is open to direct service providers (DSP)What we offer:Competitive rate Camp Accommodations Temporary Full Time until September 30, 2026Shift: 21x7 - 12 hr DaysKey Duties & Responsibilities:Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded jointsLiaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliersCleans condensate traps and equipment strainersProvides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training.Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirementsCut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machinesMeasure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power toolsThread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systemInstall supports, valves, piping and control systemsTest system for leaks using testing equipmentOther duties as assignedRole Specifications:Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter (Red Seal preferred) required OR registered apprenticeH2S Alive and CSO or CSTS, First Aid required - Confined Space, Fall Arrest (AWP) considered an asset.Receptive to change and can adapt to changing circumstancesAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA Additional InformationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Requires a Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification (Red Seal preferred) or registered apprentice status. Mandatory certifications include H2S Alive, CSO or CSTS, and First Aid.
