CASA Mental Health is a trusted non-profit organization based in Edmonton delivering holistic, culturally safe, wrap-around mental health services to approximately 4,000 children ages three to 18 and their families each year. We do this through a team of specialized mental health professionals and trauma experts committed to delivering outcomes-based programming in collaboration with community partners.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements treatment plans and provides direct care to children and adolescents under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. They also perform administrative tasks and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient development in a classroom setting.

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized and family treatment plans, and provide developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions for children and youth. Coordinate case management and discharge transitions with families, schools, community partners, and other professionals, and co-facilitate parent support and multi-family therapy groups.
