Job Title: Professors (Part-Time) - Small Engine Apprenticeship (Level 1) Department: School of Trades and Technology – Motive Power Program Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 - December 18, 2026 (8 weeks) Application Deadline: Posted until filled Qualifications: Certificate of Qualification in Small Engine Mechanic required Minimum three years of recent industry experience Experience teaching or mentoring apprentices is considered an asset Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills Previous teaching experience will be considered an asset Must be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON required Responsibilities: Teach the curriculum for the eight-week block release for Level 1 Small Engine apprenticeship program Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal at https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
