CONCENTRATOR OPERATOR Class 3 Temporary long term position – Unionized Position to fill 1 Code CO26-14 The hourly is 43,34$ Deadline to apply : August 20th, 2026 The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (84 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest. Future challenges Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Concentrator Operator is responsible for the various ore monitoring and processing operations. The main responsibilities of the job are: * Ensure the proper operation of the concentrator equipment in all sectors (crushing, flotation, reagents, control room, presses, thickeners). * Perform routine checks and inspections on the concentrator equipment. * Maintain the various equipment of the concentrator in a clean and safe condition. * Apply health, safety and environmental rules and guidelines. * Carry out any other tasks required in relation to the position. Profile Sought Professional study diploma in Machine operations, mineral and metal processing combined with any relevant experience. * Experience in operating an industrial process (mining/concentrator, metals, pulp and paper, chemical/petrochemical). * Ability to identify and diagnose troubleshoot breakdowns and problems encountered with the various equipment. * Valid driver's license.
