We are looking for motivated Crpenters to join our team and play a key role in keeping our refinery operations safe, efficient, and reliable. What You’ll Do: * Interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the types of materials and equipment to use and plan the required tasks * Knowledge of construction terminology. * Read and understand the work permits. * Basic rigging knowledge * Maintains a clean and orderly work environment and maintains housekeeping of job site. * Returns all tools and materials used by the crew to the proper place at the end of shift. * Must fully participate in the safety assessment of the job and completion of JSA’s. * Fully participate in health, safety, quality and environmental processes. What We’re Looking For: * Capable of constructing and installing formwork and temporary structures in accordance with blueprints and refinery safety standards * Candidate must have Journeyperson or, Red Seal certificate * Valid Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Powerline Hazard and WHMIS certificates will be considered as an added advantage * Ability to adhere to company safety policies and procedures * Working at heights and confined spaces * Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills Physical Requirements: * Regular lifting/moving up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting/moving >50 lbs. * Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. * Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, standing, walking, and climbing. * Use of hand tools requiring precision and balance; work on ladders/scaffolding. * Exposure to loud noises and potential environmental hazards. The Carpenter Journeyperson is responsible for interpreting blueprints to construct and install formwork and temporary structures within a refinery. They must ensure a safe work environment by participating in safety assessments and maintaining job site housekeeping.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson or Red Seal certificate and be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. Valid certifications in Fall Arrest, Powerline Hazard, and WHMIS are considered an advantage.
