A Valid Class 5 License is required. Job Overview and Responsibilities Interact in a professional and courteous manner with the public Safely direct vehicular, pedestrian and construction traffic thru the work zone Keeping the work zone safe of potential hazards before and after initial sign set up Assist with setting up and tearing down work zones which includes signs, barricades and delineators Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November) Comply with safe working procedures and practices Other duties as required PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO LOCAL CANDIDATES
