BALANCE’s Assistive Technology Apprenticeship Program and Pre-Employment Program (PEP) share a common goal: opening real paths to paid work for adults who are blind or partially sighted. The AT Apprenticeship Program trains apprentices to teach the technology BALANCE’s clients depend on, while PEP helps jobseekers in Toronto build job-readiness skills and connect with community employment services.
