The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) is a political organization representing 63 First Nations in Manitoba. The mandate of AMC is to serve as a unified forum to advance the collective interests of Manitoba First Nations while respecting each Nation's right to self-determination. AMC takes its direction from the Chiefs-in-Assembly who represent the member First Nation and meet at regular intervals to put forward issues for dialogue and decision.
