Primary Job Responsibilities Mobile Equipment Operators will learn Android Oshawa's various production lines and service all aspects of Operations as required. Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility Operating lift truck and Tugger cart as needed Delivering & unloading parts to the line to keep production running Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions Checking loads area secure Stacking empty pallets Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards Other duties as required Qualifications and Experience Safety Maintain self-confidence and self esteem of others Maintain constructive relationships Take initiative to make things better Lead by example Be on time Be reliable and punctual Maintain a safe working environment Adhere to policies and procedures Treat all team members with respect Minimum one-year related warehouse experience Forklift experience: 1 year Valid Driver's License High School diploma or equivalent Regularly sitting on a powered forklift, or standing on a Tugger Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Having a good sense of balance Having good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner Maintain a clean & safe environment PURPOSE: Building A Better Everything We build a better culture by putting people before profit, leading for purpose, passion and performance, and creating an environment devoted to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
