Together, we are Building A Better Everything. About the Role: The Quality Coordinator supports Voltava’s commitment to zero defects and customer satisfaction across build and assembly operations. This role monitors quality performance, supports problem solving on the production floor, coaches and trains Team Members on quality practices, and partners with Operations and Quality leadership to identify and resolve concerns quickly. What You Will Do: Follow all safety procedures and support site safety standards and expectations. Monitor and communicate quality performance, priorities, and concerns to Team Members, supervisors, and management. Perform quality inspections, checks, and tests on materials, components, and finished products throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements. Support internal, external, and layered process audits by identifying gaps, coordinating corrective actions, and reporting results to management. Investigate quality concerns, including supplier and internal defects, and partner with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Support customer plant visits, quality investigations, and the processing of customer returns. Evaluate incoming materials and production output against established quality requirements and escalate concerns as needed. Coach and train Team Members on quality requirements, inspection processes, error-proofing, and quality standards. Maintain accurate quality records, test data, and reports to support performance tracking and continuous improvement. Support the achievement of quality goals and a zero-defect culture across the site. What You Need To Be Successful: 3+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience, including at least 1 year in an automotive manufacturing or assembly environment. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949:2016 quality systems. Strong customer focus and commitment to achieving high-quality, zero-defect performance. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify quality gaps and support root-cause resolution. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced automotive assembly or sequencing environment. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Basic math and computer skills, including the ability to maintain records and generate reports. Knowledge of production systems and automotive module products. Understanding of error-proofing principles and quality control practices. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience supporting layered process audits, customer audits, or external quality audits.
