Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications Classify severity, impact, exploitability, and remediation strategies based on real-world context Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and improve AI systems Apply your practitioner judgment to distinguish theoretical risk from what actually matters in production Who You Are 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks Comfortable reasoning about the tradeoffs between risk severity and operational impact A structured, analytical thinker who can communicate clearly in writing Self-motivated and able to work independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with exposure management platforms or CVSS scoring Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, CIS Controls, or MITRE ATT&CK Background in red teaming, threat intelligence, or cloud security Prior experience contributing to AI or data annotation projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
What you’ll do
Analyze vulnerability reports and classify severity, impact, exploitability, and remediation strategies. Generate and validate realistic security-reasoning data to train AI systems.
Requirements
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management or related fields and be familiar with CVEs and vulnerability scanners. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly are essential.
