The Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) is a Crown corporation owned by the Province of Alberta and one of Canada's largest and most diversified institutional investment managers. Established in 2008, AIMCo operates at arms-length from the Government of Alberta with a mandate to provide superior long-term investment results for its clients. With more than $190 billion of assets under management, AIMCo invests globally on behalf of its Alberta-based pension, endowment, insurance and government fund clients, including the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund.
