Job summary
ROLE: Production Assistant REPORTS TO: Production Manager LOCATION: Guelph Plant Temporary role for 6 months with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent. We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our Production Team! Our Production Assistant is responsible for completing a variety of tasks in a timely and efficient manner. OPPORTUNITIES This is a very exciting time for the Production Team as we continue to grow and expand! You will be assisting the Operators in completing their production orders, removing filled cartons from the conveyors, and manually packing goods into boxes. You will have to clear work areas and assist with basic sanitation procedures. EXPERIENCE • You have at least 1 year of experience in the Dairy manufacturing industry. • You have a willingness to learn COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: • Wage: $21.94 - 27.43 per hour • Competitive progressive wage grid in place. Increased chance to move up based on the number of hours worked • Fully paid benefits by employer except LTD • 2 Weeks Vacation • On-Site parking THINGS YOU WILL DO… • Drive excellent results focusing on accuracy and efficiency • Create outstanding reports to help us understand the current state of finance • Assist filler operators in completing production orders • Remove goods from conveyors and manually pack them into boxes • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects • Operate equipment supporting filler operations, such as box forming, bottle washing, and labeling machinery OTHER … • Shift Timings: Monday to Thursday – 7 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday: 4 hours variable/ 8 hours 5 days a week #LI-DNI

Requirements
Requires at least 1 year of experience in the dairy manufacturing industry and knowledge of basic GMP practices. Must be able to lift up to 20kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
