We have a strong African indigenous cultural foundation incorporated across our programs and services. Position Summary We are hiring 4 roles to do work in the areas of Communication and Marketing, Human Resources ,Community Engagement, Fund Development, and Business Analysis. If you are an individual who has education and skills in at least one of these areas, please consider applying. These positions work 30–35 hours per week for 8 weeks. To be eligible for this role the candidate must meet the following criteria: Candidates must be Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment. Candidate must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible. Candidates must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment. Duties may include: Assist with creating social media content, newsletters, documents, and updates Help prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and record keeping Support community outreach, engagement and fundraising activities Help coordinate events, workshops, and information sessions Respond to general inquiries from community members and stakeholders Assist with developing promotional materials and communication tools including photography and storytelling initiatives Support campaign tracking and engagement reporting Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting activities Support program evaluation and outcome measurement tasks Conduct research and compile information for organizational planning Assist with reviewing processes and identifying administrative improvements Support maintenance of organizational databases and records Participate in team meetings and project planning activities Skills and Qualifications Interest and education in at least one of these areas: business administration, marketing, communications, research, or nonprofit operations Effective communicator in verbal and written communication Strong analytical and organizational skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Open until a suitable candidate is identified

Support the organization across communication, marketing, HR, community engagement, and business analysis. Duties include creating content, coordinating events, conducting research, and maintaining organizational databases.

Requirements

Candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons aged 15 to 30. Education or interest in business administration, marketing, communications, research, or nonprofit operations is required.
