Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Order Picker / Walkie Rider Operator for our client in Vaughan, Ontario. This full-time opportunity is ideal for experienced warehouse associates who thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment and are comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer conditions. If you have experience operating a Ryder Walkie and enjoy accurate order picking, this could be the perfect role for you. • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour • Location: Vaughan, ON • Shift: 3:00 – 11:00pm • Job type: Temporary | Full-time • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy. Here's why you should apply: • Paid weekly accurate and on time • Strong health and safety programs • Medical and dental benefits once qualified • Free training programs • New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Order Picking & Warehouse Operations • Efficiently pick customer and store orders for shipment while ensuring the correct quantity and product selection • Meet and maintain 95%+ order-picking performance standards • Operate a Ryder Walkie and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently • Transport completed orders to staging, shipping locations, or delivery trailers • Accurately label and tag pallets with the correct store information • Support warehouse operations to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are met Quality Control • Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage • Identify and report inventory discrepancies and quality issues to supervisors • Participate in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock verification activities • Maintain accuracy when handling food and consumer products Safety & Housekeeping • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations • Adhere to food safety standards and warehouse procedures • Assist in maintaining warehouse security and operational integrity • Operate equipment and perform duties in a safe and responsible manner Qualifications and Skills: • Completion of high school or equivalent • Previous warehouse experience preferred • Minimum 3 months of Ryder Walkie Rider experience • Ability to accurately read pick lists and count inventory • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis • Knowledge of proper lifting and material handling techniques • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Good communication and teamwork skills • Food safety knowledge is an asset • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution centre environment Working Conditions • Distribution centre environment with varying temperatures including: • Ambient warehouse conditions • Chilled environments (approximately 33°F / 1°C) • Freezer environments (approximately -18°F / 0°F) • Ability to manage changing priorities and meet daily deadlines • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require • Physically demanding role involving standing, walking, lifting, and equipment operation throughout the shift • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
