Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in a dynamic warehouse and logistics operation environment in Calgary, AB. This position is perfect for a hands-on professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and customer service. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a safe, organized warehouse environment. • Pay Rate: $20/hour • Location: Calgary, AB • Schedule: Monday to Friday | Afternoons • Job type: Temporary | Full-time Here's why you should apply: • Paid weekly accurate and on time • Strong health and safety programs • Medical and dental benefits once qualified • Free training programs • New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Operations • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. • Verify shipments through piece counts, weight checks, and documentation review. • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently. • Receive, sort, store, and distribute incoming inventory. • Prepare shipping labels, waybills, bills of lading, and related documentation. • Track shipments and resolve delivery discrepancies. • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely. Inventory Control • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts. • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies. • Support FIFO inventory practices and warehouse organization. • Maintain inventory records, shipping files, and warehouse documentation. • Manage shipping supplies and materials. Safety & Team Support • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse. • Report equipment maintenance and repair needs. • Follow all warehouse procedures and safety standards. • Build positive relationships with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams. Qualifications and Skills: • High School Diploma or GED. • Forklift Certification required. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control preferred. • Proven ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment. • Knowledge of shipping documents, waybills, and bills of lading. • Basic computer skills, including Excel and email. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to lift, move, weigh, and measure products safely. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
