Job summary

A Quality Control Attendant has a great eye for detail. The role of a “Q.C.” is to inspect lodging units after they have been cleaned by our Lodging Attendants, ensuring the highest quality standards are being met. You will play an important role in helping to create that great first impression for our guests. Essential Functions: Successfully meet or exceed daily inspection standards and productivity thresholds of specific areas as assigned. Ensure all incoming units are completed to standard prior to our guest’s arrival, cleaning & conducting touch ups as needed. Assist with the administration of departmental Incentive and Recognition Programs by documenting both standard and substandard cleans by Room Attendants in all units inspected. Communicate with Rooms Supervisors or Office Coordinator immediately if there are significant touch-ups in any rooms that are inspected. Report any and all damages or missing inventory in the units and any maintenance deficiencies to the Office Coordinator immediately Participate in Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department. Other duties as assigned. Experience/Requirements: Able to multi-task, work well under stress and meet targeted deadlines. Must be able to work independently, be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations. Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy. Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures. Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to sit, stand; walk; climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend.
