ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director–Regulatory Training and Skills Development, you are required to analyze the training and development needs of your clients. You design and adapt effective training programs and activities and deliver the training within your area of expertise. You ensure follow-up of training activities and skills maintenance. You verify the transfer of learning and support trainers in their activities.

More specifically, you:

  • Analyze training needs in response to client requests, considering the requirements of accreditation agencies (where required);
  • Draft partnership agreements with clients;
  • Explore and implement new methods and technologies to optimize learning;
  • Manage training (planning, organization, delivery, evaluation and documentation);
  • Supervise and support the trainers in their work;
  • Evaluate and update training programs;
  • Take part, as needed, in ad-hoc committees on various corporate projects;
  • Coach external resources in the design and delivery of training, as needed;
  • Design and apply mechanisms to facilitate the transfer of learning, in collaboration with the managers involved;
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the interventions and follow up the programs in place.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or certificate in education, human resource management or other relevant field (equivalent experience may also be considered);
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in training and development;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, especially Word and PowerPoint;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French;
  • Member in good standing of a professional order or association is an asset.

Notes

  • Prepared to travel occasionally to the company's various sites.
