Essential Responsibilities Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting , etc. Assist with traffic control procedures Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment Perform other road maintenance duties as required Work outside in all weather conditions Qualifications Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50lbs on a regular basis, bending, kneeling, crouching etc. Valid G driver’s license Provide a copy of a 3-year driver’s abstract Previous experience operating with snow maintenance is a strong asset Work Conditions Local applicants will be given preference due to the location of the work As we respond to various weather patterns, shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required Winter Seasonal from Oct 1st to April 30th CLAC union position Compensation $20.00 - $22.00 per hour This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location. Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
