Overview: $26.00 / hour This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years. The starting wage for this position is $26/hr and may vary based on experience. You’ll also… Work with Manager, Corporate and Internal partners planning and executing all creative services for events and programs Assist with planning, budgeting, purchasing and reporting as needed Oversee design team and technical team to ensure all plans are within budget and executed effectively Responsible to hire, train, and supervisor all staff in assigned area Ensure proper adherence to all current departmental procedures and to all current Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations Responsible for the set-up, execution/operation, and strike of events within the park Assist in obtaining and maintaining all departmental resources and facilities Delegate, implement and document all new projects as assigned Some of our amazing perks and benefits: FREE Admission to Canada’s Wonderland and other Cedar Fair parks! Candidates that have a post-secondary degree or diploma in technical theatre with major studies in technical direction and/or significant experience in a related technical field Knowledge of design, carpentry, audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment required Advanced computer literacy is required Competency with tools and equipment Previous management experience is required Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays
