Saturn has an opportunity for a 16 month Field Operator/Engineering Student based in the Carlyle or Swift Current, Saskatchewan areas starting in May 2027. Some specific duties, and responsibilities of the Field Operator/Engineering Student include, but are not limited to: Field Operator * Utilize your hands on mechanical aptitude and experience to solve daily problems to increase and maintain production volumes * Be responsible for light oil, gas plants, and/or oil batteries * Work with water floods, EOR, pump jacks, and PC pumps * Perform well testing techniques and production reporting. Field Engineering * Obtain baseline engineering experience and exposure in Production * Participate in inactive/active well file reviews * Perform optimization research for increased production * Provide technical support of data analysis and assistance for the preparation of various applications * Execute small projects related to Production * Attend, where applicable, internal and external meetings. Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies: * Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s and coop program, pursuing an undergrad degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or Civil * Student must be able to commit to the full term, starting in May 2027 * Clean Drivers Abstract as student will be provided with a company truck * If applicable, the student must be willing to relocate to Carlyle for the duration of the term * Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
