Hourly wage of $23.81/hr We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available (day shifts) Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Casual position to start with permanent opportunities in future Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Federal Transportation Security Guard Conduct vehicle inspections and verify the mechanical condition of fleet vehicles Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle searches to ensure security and required equipment is onboard Perform post-trip cleaning and sanitization of vehicles Search individuals and their luggage Log and safeguard individuals’ valuables Transport individuals, luggage, and personal effects safely and securely Maintain custody, control, and safety of individuals during transport Ensure compliance with child safety regulations and transportation laws Escort individuals between vehicles and designated destinations Escort individuals and luggage through airport environments Transport and escort individuals to and from facilities such as: Confirm departures as part of verification procedures Complete and submit required documentation to Shift Supervisors and Client Ensure proper transfer and documentation of personal property (e.g., valuables, medication) Perform additional duties as outlined in the Post Orders Qualifications for Federal Transportation Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Have a valid Saskatchewan Security Guard training certificate to obtain your license 6 months- 1 year of security experience in a public facing position First aid certification - required Ability to stand and walk throughout shift Valid full class 5 drivers license and clean driver's abstract Ability to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance Education diploma from Canada. Be able to provide Canadian equivalency document, If the education was done outside Canada This position requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency due to contractual obligations with our client.
