Reference Number: 31951 Jardeg is recruiting a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyperson or Apprentice to join the Cenovus Upgrader in Lloydminster, SK project team until end of year. Rotation is 9/80 on a 2-week cycle, Week 1: Monday-Friday 9 hour days (8 hour Friday), Week 2: Monday - Thursday 9 hour days. After September 08th, it will be Mon-Thursday 10 hours/day. As a Steamfitter/Pipefitter your key responsibilities include but is not limited to: Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings. Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors. Qualifications Journeyperson Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification. Proven experience as a Journeyperson Pipefitter, preferably in industrial or construction settings. Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used in pipefitting. Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
