Role Description Reed Energy Group is looking for CWB W178.2 qualified inspectors for turnarounds and shutdowns in the Grande Prairie and Fort St John areas. Qualifications Ability to apply Quality Control and Inspection skills to assess fabricated and installed components, identify defects, and verify compliance with specifications. Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, including documentation, process compliance, and support for continuous improvement. Strong Communication skills for reporting findings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and interacting with clients and contractors when needed. Previous experience in oil and gas, industrial fabrication, or a related field; familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, on-site environment. Proficiency in using basic inspection tools (e.g., measuring devices, gauges) and completing digital or paper-based inspection records. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in quality, inspection, or a related discipline is an asset. Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and working in outdoor or industrial settings while following all safety procedures.
