This employee works relatively independently and is expected to make primary decisions based on sound assessments in accordance with The Public Health Act, the policies of the Public Health Nursing program, the SRNA Standards of Practice, the Canadian Community Health Nursing Standards of Practice, and other relevant legislation. Inherent in this role are knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to health promotion, prevention, and protection. This employee liases with, and refers to, other health personnel, and other sectors and community groups. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Minimum of one (1) year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and be registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Additional requirements include a valid Class 5 driver's license, Basic Life Support certification, and completion of community health nursing course credits.
