The Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher manages internal communications through radio, phone, and online platforms, ensuring timely coordination of daily operations. This position is responsible for logging, reporting, and communicating incidents and operational events requiring dispatch support. Working closely with mountain operations departments, the role helps coordinate logistics, maintain accurate records, and support effective communication across the departments. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential for success. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $25.20/hr Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift Type: Full Time hours available Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: Yes Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Lift Experience department, including reporting, data entry, document management, and daily operational tasks. Process payroll for 300+ employees and maintain accurate employee records, onboarding documentation, schedules, and workforce data in Workday. Coordinate workforce scheduling, internal communications, departmental correspondence, and logistical support for department leadership. Maintain organized documentation, dispatch logs, operational records, and reporting systems to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Serve as a primary dispatch resource by monitoring radio and telephone communications, responding to calls, and providing timely operational updates and record keeping. Support resort operations through Access Control, emergency services and rescue coordination, outdoor operational activities. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; previous office or administrative experience preferred. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software systems. Valid BC driver's license and ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including sitting for extended periods. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently, demonstrate initiative, solve problems effectively, and work collaboratively in a team environment. This job requires a self-motivated individual – there is no manual for this role! The expected pay range is $21.00/hr - $25.20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Requirements
