The mission of the Ministry of Alberta Justice and Solicitor General is to ensure the safety and security of its residents and is headed by the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General. Its legislative bodies preside over legal matters in Alberta through law enforcement, correctional and victim services. It also ensures there is integrity and accountability in Alberta’s gaming and liquor industries. The Ministry works in tandem with Albertans to accomplish its mission.
